When we were given the presentation about psychoanalysis. i found it really interesting as i had never really heard of the theories before, it was something completely new.
2. At what moment in the class this week did you feel most distanced from what was happening? when we were doing our own work. it was a good opportunity to get some work done but i was a little unsure about what i was doing so was finding it hard to concentrate.
3. What action that anyone (teacher or student) took in class this week did you find most affirming and helpful? lindsay came round us individually to check we were ok with the work. this helped to establish that i did know what i was doing and that i was doing the right thing.

seeing work that had already been completed by others in the group confused me a bit because i had interpreted the task differently.

the ideas about women in psychoanalysis were quite surprising but it made sense to me. it was surprising to be shown how things could be interpreted in such a different way.
